As roles evolve and expand along the life path into wife, mother, grandmother and more, women sometimes also face difficult decision which may result in scarifying part of her roles. These can make striving for the top a lonely and frustrating endeavor even in organizations with the best intentions to support their top female talent. Women executives rarely have an opportunity to come together and share their leadership experiences in a casual sharing and learning environment that has direct relevance and personal impact. WLC is established to address not only leadership issues and unique challenges that women encounter but also create a network of all female alumnae and female students to get together and empower each other to get to the top of their career, a loving family and a fulfilling personal life. ​ Inspired by the Left-Right-Circle Theory, the double phoenix in the WLC logo is striving to exploit our full potential while searching for our blue ocean. The quadrant at the heart of the double phoenix resembles togetherness and balance of the four mansion of I-Ching.
