EMBA Leading The Way!

Oxfam Trailwalker is one of the largest fundraising sporting events in Hong Kong since 1986. CUHK EMBA has been participating every year with the team number 033. This year, we have a team from across 20 years, with same goal to finish the 100km MacLehose Trail together within 48-hour time limit.

Team Captain Rachel YU (2023) is last year Trailwalker support team and motivated to participate in Team 033 this year upon graduation from the program. 100km is not easy, it demands both physical and mental strength of each of us. “Support from the EMBA network gives us addition confidence and determination to complete this challenge."

Chris AU (2003) is the team guiding light. He has participated in Trailwalker a couple of times and also trained various teams. With Chris, each of the team members is uncovering their hidden potential.

After giving birth to lovely boy Logan, Kelly WONG (2021) is still in progress recovering her body. She has strong determination to complete this challenge and regain pre-maternity strength. Hugh improvement week after week from Kelly inspires everyone around.

Benji KWOK (2021) is a key member of the Dragon Boat team. Right upon the Dragon Boat race finished in June, he decided to push himself a bit further and joins Trailwalker. Humble and supportive, Benji’s presence always adds positiveness to our practice.

The objective of Oxfam Trailwalker is to raise fund to support Oxfam’s various poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects in Africa and Asia, including Hong Kong and mainland China.
